T-ball!

Gabby is playing t-ball this spring. She began team practices a few weeks ago and has been practicing at home, too. For her birthday, Uncle Tommy, Aunt Danielle and Vinny got her an equipment bag, tee and softballs for practicing. When they visited us a few weeks ago for Gabby's birthday party, along with Nonna and G-Pa, we enjoyed an afternoon outside playing in the backyard with Gabby's new gifts.

These are photos from Saturday. Gabby has improved her batting and fielding so much in just a few weeks. (Our lawn looks better, too, after some treatment and mowing!)

Gabriella's Painting Party!

Gabriella's fun and colorful pottery painting party was yesterday! She had a wonderful time painting and enjoying balloon creations with her many friends.

My friend Rebecca made this wonderful invitation. She is a photographer and you can view her wonderful work on her blog. She's so very creative!

The first thing the kids did was pick out a piece to paint. There were so many options!

What an excited and beautiful birthday girl! We love her so much and can't believe she's 5!

The room was so quiet as all 20-plus kids concentrated on their painting.

We hired a balloon artist to entertain the kids. Each child waited patiently as he made each child exactly what they wanted. He is very talented!

We all had a wonderful time at Gabby's party! She was so excited to spend an afternoon with her friends. She deserved all the fun in the world - she is one special little girl and we love her tonies!
