Wertzbergers' Visit, Trunk or Treat, Tulsa Run and Pumpkin Carving

What a fun weekend! Our friends from Kansas City visited us this weekend. Pat, Gabby's Godfather, his wife Jen and their daughter Sloan attended the girls' school's Trunk or Treat on Friday with us. On Saturday, Pat, David and I ran in the Tulsa Run 15K (9.3 miles) and Jen ran in the 5K (3.1 miles). It was a really fun and busy weekend and we are so happy they came down to see us!

After the 15K. It was tiring and challenging but fun at the same time. We had been training for it the last couple months and it's always nice to see hard work pay off.

Today I celebrated my 32nd birthday! Here's a photo with my most important birthday gifts from God!

Fall Break 2013

We spent Fall Break in Ohio and Pennsylvania. We visited Nonna & G-Pa and extended family and went to the YSU-Western Illinois football game.  The Penguins won and it was a great game! We spent a day visiting grandparent/great-grandparents and then Saturday we went to the game.  It was a really nice yet quick trip.

We had a great time and wish our stay could have been longer. We are so glad we had a chance to visit with family and see G-Pa on the sideline again!

Pumpkin Patch

We spent an afternoon at the pumpkin patch and it was so fun! The girls had a great time picking out pumpkins, feeding farm animals and enjoying a snack.

We had a great time at Carmichael's. The pumpkin patch really helps to get into the spirit of the season! Happy Fall!

Adriana's Sweet Celebration!

This afternoon we hosted Adriana's birthday party with family and friends decorating cupcakes and having a great time! She was so fortunate to have so many people attend her party and help her celebrate!

As the birthday girl, Adriana got to mix cake batter and put it in the cupcake pan. She loved this part!

We had the balloon artist we used at Gabby's 5th birthday party do his magic at Adriana's party. He was a hit again. This is Christina in her princess crown. Such a sweet baby girl!

Adriana had a wonderful time celebrating with family and friends today! Four has been pretty fabulous so far! We love so much, Adriana! 

Happy 4th Birthday, Adriana!

Happy Birthday to our sweet, smart and hilarious Adriana! It's so hard to believe our Little Miss Sass turned 4 today! She had a great birthday and we enjoyed celebrating with her. 

First thing in the morning, she wanted to open her gifts from her family. Gabby & Christina got her Legos, nail polish and a sleeping bag. 

She loves Olivia. David and I got her some books, an outfit, a new fancy nightlight and a storage basket for her toys.
