BK "Varsity for a Day"

Friday night Gabby & Adriana participated in Bishop Kelley High School's "Varsity for a Day." The girls had the opportunity to do this because they attended BK's Spirit Camp this summer. They cheered on the BK Comets football team during the first half on the sideline and it was so adorable! Gabby participated last year but this year Adriana was old enough and she had a great time! BK played Bishop McGuinness from OKC, a big rivalry, so it was a fun atmosphere. Unfortunately, BK lost but the girls still had a blast! It was also a very chilly evening. Perfect football weather!

Standing liberty...future cheerleader?!
Kick it, girl!
They did some small stunts, too. So cute!
Go BK!
After all the sideline fun, the girls were still smiling. But as Adriana put it on our way back to the van, "it was cold fun!" Love these girls!

First Soccer Games of the Season

Saturday Gabby & Adriana had their first soccer games this season in the rain. It was Adriana's first game ever. They both played well and we had a lot of fun watching them. Adriana scored 2 goals! She is really starting to understand the game and is a little beast out there! Ha! Gabby blocked a goal with her face -- complete sacrifice for the team -- so we are very proud of her effort, too!

Before their games.
A little collage of the soccer excitement. What a fun and wet morning!

Visit to Ames

We spent Labor Day weekend in Ames visiting Nonna, G-Pa, Uncle Tommy, Aunt Danielle & Vinny. We attended the ISU game Saturday. It was the first game for G-Pa and Uncle Tommy to coach the Cyclones. ISU came up short, but we still enjoyed our time visiting family and in cooler northern temperatures.

Our sweet girls on the sideline before kick-off. They loved the pre-game fanfare upclose.
G-Pa & Uncle Tommy during warm-up. They are both in white/gray pull-overs in the center.

Christina's First Day at Mother's Day Out!

Today was Christina Mary's first day at Mother's Day Out! She was so excited to be a big girl and wear a back pack and take pictures with her big sisters. It was just a half day and we received a good report. It's so hard to believe she is old enough to do such things. My sweet baby is growing up! ;)

So excited! I love these girls to pieces!
She looked so pretty for her first day. She loves fruit snacks, which she calls "chews" or "chewies."
Leaving school in good spirits!

Daddy's Birthday and the First Days of School!

Yesterday, August 14th, was David's 33rd Birthday and Gabriella's First Day of 2nd Grade! Seriously, I do not know how we got to this point so quickly. She is so excited about 2nd Grade and is looking forward to an exciting year as she will receive the Blessed Sacraments of First Reconciliation & First Holy Communion. We are so proud of the young lady she is becoming. She has such a kind and nurturing heart and is so fun-loving. She brings a lot of energy and laughter to our family. We love you, Gabby!

So grown up!
She is ready to go!
After school, we went out to dinner to celebrate David's birthday at a Japanese Steak House, which the girls refer to as "the place that cooks in front of you." Ha!
Make a wish, Daddy!

Today was Adriana's first day of Pre-Kindergarten. Talk about how quickly time flies. This is Adriana's last year of preschool. I can remember so clearly when we moved to Tulsa when she was Christina's age. Years go by so quickly! She is so excited for Pre-K. She wants to know why she doesn't go to school everyday like Gabby (she attends 3 full days a week), but I am happy to have her home with me for 2 days one last year. Adriana is inquisitive, imaginative and tender-hearted. She bring a lot of laughter and heart-warming moments to our family. We love you, Adriana!

I can't get over how mature she looks in these back to school photos.
She was so excited to head to school!
Our 3 Love Bugs!
Here's to a fun, successful and healthy 2014-15 school year!

Our Final Week of Summer!

We had a fun and busy final week of summer with Nonnie. She came down to visit us for a week and a half and it was a great time! We soaked up as much as we could before school begins.

We went to the pool a couple times!
We ate at one of the girls' favorite places - Pei Wei!
We painted pottery at Purple Glaze!
They turned out great!
We went to the Aquarium. Do you see Adriana in there?
We spent a day at the Tulsa Zoo!
We saw the Zoo's Dinosaur exhibit as well.
We truly had a great summer but we welcome another school year with much excitement and anticipation! Summer 2014 was one to remember!

An Update on Christina!

Our sweet Christina Mary is growing up so quickly! As of the early part of July, she started to walk...finally! Now she is on the go and running. It did not take her long to catch up as the PT had predicted. She is just the cutest little thing on two feet!

She is also talking quite a bit and putting 2 and 3 words together. It's precious! She has us all smitten and we just adore our baby girl. She is also tiny like her big sisters but mighty!

Here are some photos from the last month:

On the 4th of July.
At the Aquarium. She loves it there! She screamed and made fish faces the entire time.
Her 18 month old selfies on her half birthday - July 30, 2014.
Love this face!
We love you Christina Mary! We are incredibly blessed to call you our own!
