Out with the Old...in with the New!

Well, today was bittersweet. We traded in our Toyota Camry and purchased a Honda Pilot. Before we went to the dealership, we each took a picture with the Camry. This beloved car experienced several family milestones the last 4 years. It will be missed. :-( But, the good news is that we purchased a much more spacious SUV for our growing family. We are really excited about our new ride! :-)

Easter Traditions

Happy Easter! We spent Easter weekend with family and Gabriella had a great time. She received lots of wonderful gifts from the Easter Bunny and family. We think her favorite Easter tradition is the plastic eggs - she loved hunting them, holding them, throwing them, as well as teething on them. Very useful!

Daddy was proud to teach Gabby how to swing her first golf club. We think she was more interested in picking up the golf balls than hitting them with the club.

We spent Holy Saturday with the Hardys. We took a walk around the neighborhood in the afternoon and Gabby didn't mind the bunny ears on her head. We don't think she knew they were there. :-)

Enjoying a beautiful day

Today was the first day of Daylight Savings and we had beautiful weather after several weeks (and months) of cold, snowy days. We took full advantage of the day and spent most of the afternoon outdoors. Hopefully, spring is just around the corner.

All four of us enjoyed the nice day with a walk in our neighborhood.

While on our stroll, we stopped to play on a soccer field near our house. Since learning to walk, this was Gabby first time playing in the grass. She had a good time!

Daddy pushes Gabby in the tractor he used to ride when he was a little boy. Great-Grandpa Hardy bought it for David years ago.

Happy 1st Birthday Gabriella!

On February 28th, we celebrated Gabriella's first birthday. Nonna came over to our house early in the morning to wish Gabby a happy birthday with balloons and a gift. She also brought McDonald's breakfast. Gabby had her first McDonald's hot cake and she loved it!

Throughout the day,  Gabriella enjoyed playing with all of her new toys and our cordless telephone. She loves phones!

We gave her a piece of her birthday cake to enjoy one more time. She was an old pro!

Party Time...Ladybug style!

We celebrated Gabriella's first birthday a few days early with family and friends at our house. It was a Ladybug theme party that everyone really enjoyed. 

While Gabby took her afternoon nap, Mommy and Daddy decorated the house and put on the final touches before family and friends arrived.

After a long afternoon of partying, Gabby takes a few moments to relax with the help of her godfather, Pat.

Happy Valentine's Day!

On Valentine's Day, Mommy and Daddy surprised Gabriella with a stuffed Ladybug!

She loves wrestling with it and giving it lots of hugs and kisses!
