First Days of School - 2013!

A new school year is underway! On Thursday Gabriella started 1st Grade and Adriana started preschool on Friday. Our babies are growing up! It's so bittersweet! Both had great first days!

With her summer reading project. She chose to do her poster on Green Eggs and Ham. She is such a big girl now. It's amazing how much she has matured since finishing Kindergarten in May.

Daddy's Birthday and the last days of summer!

Yesterday was Daddy's 32nd Birthday! We celebrated the evening before because he was out of town most of his birthday. He opened gifts and we ate his traditional birthday cake.

So how did we close out the final days of summer? 

Christina Mary turned 6 months old on July 30th. She started eating solids once she reached this milestone and she loves them! These are photos from her first taste of rice cereal.

Daddy-Daughter Date Night! Daddy and Gabby went to Taylor Swift's concert. They had a blast! Gabby loved the show and got a really cool t-shirt. :)

While they went to the concert, Adriana, Christina and I went to see Turbo. They both behaved so well in the theater. Adriana watched the movie with intrigue and Christina slept. :) 

Flying high on the last day of summer! The day before school started we spent at CRCC's pool. The girls spent a lot of time on the diving board. Gabby was doing a cartwheel into the water and Adriana was jumping. So fun!

Chicago

We spent a few days in Chicago visiting with family. We stayed with David's Aunt and Uncle and their 3 girls. Our girls had a fantastic time playing with cousins and being surrounded by girls our entire stay. Most of the time we were in the suburbs visiting family but also spent a day in the city. We went to Navy Pier and the Children's Museum with family and we all had a great time!

Crazy... Without realizing it beforehand, we were in Chicago at the same time as our good friends and Gabby's Godfather, Pat and Jen who live in Kansas City. We actually were in the city and eating lunch a few blocks from each other and met up. We had no idea we would be there at the same time. Small world!

We had a great time visiting with family. It was a fun and memorable weekend and we look forward to visiting in the future! 

Our Fabulous Visit to Florida!

We had a wonderful visit to Florida this last week! We spent over a week in Naples visiting Nonnie and G-Pa and had a short stay in Orlando where we visited Disney World's Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. We all had a great time! Below is a very long post about our visit. It was so hard to pick which pictures to share so this is the best I could do!

Our first full day in Naples the girls wanted to go to the water park. They love it there! 

The second day we spent at the beach. It was Christina's first visit. She liked the warm Gulf water. Doesn't she have the cutest expression?

We spent our first day at Disney World at the Magic Kingdom. Our family and Nonnie and G-Pa enjoyed a 12-hour day in the park! WOW! But, it was so fun! Our last visit to MK was 2 1/2 years ago and Gabby still talks about it, so we knew both big girls would appreciate and remember this visit. We started the day with eating breakfast at the Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and friends. It was so fun!

The girls loved getting their autograph books signed. We love Pooh!

Nonnie, Gabby, Adriana and & Mommy had lunch in Cinderella's Castle at the Royal Table. What an incredible experience! This is a photo I took with my phone of our professional photo. Before our trip the girls got to buy their favorite princess' outfit to wear to the Castle.

Our second day at Disney we spent at Hollywood Studios. We had lunch at Hollywood & Vine with the characters from Disney Junior. Another great experience!
