My Birthday!

Yesterday was my 34th birthday. Although getting older stinks, I have my health, a loving family and a good life so that's definitely something to celebrate! I was treated to donuts, a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks (my first all season) and dinner out with my family. Gabby had dance rehearsal and Adriana had a soccer game so we kept busy like most Saturday afternoons, but my peeps made it a special day anyway.

Right after I woke up (if you can't tell from this photo), they presented me with cards and gifts. I am laughing hysterically at the card David chose for the girls to give to me. Might have been the best gift overall, although I really do like my new Tory Burch flats. ;)
Dinner at an Italian restaurant not far from our house.
These sweet little voices singing Happy Birthday. I love them so very much!
Thank you to David, Gabriella, Adriana & Christina for making my birthday so very special and for all the texts, calls and Facebook b-day wishes I received from people near and far. I love you all!

Cheers to my 35th year!

Fall Happenings

While Nana visited last weekend we went to Pumpkinville in the botanical gardens in downtown OKC last weekend. The girls had a fun time running around, playing games and painting pumpkins. The five of us also went to our first Thunder game as a family. Thunder Up!

These girls crack me up even though most days they make me want to pull my hair out! LOL!
Painting perfection.
Love our three little pumpkins.
Before the game started.
Christina was so excited for this game. She talked about it days before and afterward. She brought her "Crumble" (Rumble, the mascot) doll to the game.
Warm-up.
So fun! Thunder up!

Happy 6th Birthday, Adriana!

Today is Adriana's 6th birthday! It's so hard to believe this little girl has reached this milestone. She had a wonderful day. There wasn't any school today because of teacher inservice so it was extra special with donuts, Chick-fil-a, her painting birthday party and dinner and dessert at The Cheesecake Factory. What a day!

Six is super!
So excited about Grace, the American Girl doll!
Thrilled to have Grace.

Yummy cupcakes.
Having fun painting with friends (and sisters).

Happy Birthday, Adriana!
Enjoying cheesecake after her birthday dinner.
Our birthday girl had a fun and busy day. We are so proud of the imaginative, smart and funny young lady she has become. She bring so much love and spice to our family and we are so fortunate that she is ours!

Cheer & Soccer!

Last Friday Gabby cheered at the Bishop McGuinness High School's football game against Bishop Kelley. Gabby attended McGuinness' cheer clinic last month so she was invited to perform with the other clinic attendees during the half time show. It was so cute! Funny how life can change in a year. Last year Gabby cheered on the sideline for BK during this same match-up. Click here to see last year's post.

Adriana is busy with soccer. She is playing on a team through her school and is really enjoying it. David is helping coach again this year, too. She has been playing tough -- scoring goals and playing some stiff defense. It's a real treat to watch these girls do what they do with such passion and enthusiasm!

Labor Day weakend in Iowa

We spend last weekend in Ames visiting family and we went to the ISU football game. We cheered the Cyclones on to victory against Northern Iowa in their season opener. Here is an assortment of photos from game day. We all had a lot of fun and it always feels good to win!

Pre-game on the field. Such a fun evening! The crowd was really loud.

Uncle Tommy came over to say hi and we wished him luck before kickoff.
The girls greeted G-Pa with good luck kisses before game time.
I love these little ones!
We had a really great weekend with family. It's alway so nice to be able to spend time with them and of course enjoy a victory! We miss you all and can't wait to see you again!

First Day of Pre-School 2015-16!

Today Christina began a new school year at our church's pre-school. She attended a few times this summer, but today she started her regular attendance twice a week. She loves to talk about school and her friends and was so excited to return to her classroom. It's so sweet and I love that she loves to be social and spend time with children her age. I am also so grateful that I spend 3 days each week one-on-one with her.

Our little ladybug...

Bittersweet for sure. I'm happy she is excited about school but sad she is already at the age where she wants to be independent like her big sisters.
Melt. My. Heart. I love these 3!

First Day of School 2015-16!

Today was the day we have all been waiting for with a lot of excitement and anxiety -- the first day of school at their new school! It was a great first day! It's hard to believe our little Adriana is in kindergarten. It doesn't seen possible but here we are with two in elementary school!

Gabby and Adriana came home with big smiles on their faces and excitement about school, their classes and teachers to share with David and me. We hope this is an early indication that this year will be a great one!

Our kindergartner! {Tear}
Love this face! She has spunk, sass and is wickedly wise beyond her years!
Third grade...seriously, where has the time gone? I feel like I was just pregnant with Christina and sending her off to kindergarten.
She's maturing into a graceful and fun-loving young girl.
So cute in their uniforms! I knew the day would come when they'd be dressing in the same plaid but I never thought it would happen this quickly.
With the littlest sis.
Hoping and praying they have a successful and fun year at their new school!
