Fall Sports!

Fall sports are underway and the Hardy girls are keeping busy! Adriana and Christina are playing soccer and Gabby is playing volleyball. This is Christina's first year to play soccer and it's just so cute to watch. All three are doing a great job and having a lot of fun. It keeps us busy but it's good to keep them active and see them enjoy themselves among their friends.

Napa!

David and I spent a couple days in Napa with his bank associates and customers. It was a lovely time. What a beautiful part of the country with delicious indulgences! Here are a few photos of our stops at different parts of the Valley.

State Fair!

It was fun at the State Fair! Ride, prizes and treats! Lots of people watching as well. ;)

Go Irish!

All three girls performed during the McGuinness football game's half time tonight! They did great! We are so proud! They even got to keep the pom poms!

KU Athletics Hall of Fame Induction

Last weekend KU honored the 2007 Kansas Football team & 2008 Orange Bowl Champs. My dad, Aqib Talib, Anthony Collins and the entire team were inducted into the KU Athletics Hall of Fame. A special night for a special team. We went to Lawrence to be with Nonnie & G-Pa and to attend the game. 

10 years between the 2 photos. At the top, G-Pa and Gabby when Gabby was 6 months old at Fan Appreciation Day prior to the 2007 season, and the below photo is now when she is 10.

I love this photo. During half-time when the team and G-Pa were honored. Since Nonnie and the rest of us wanted to watch from the press box, Gabby was awarded the opportunity to go on the field since she was the only grandchild alive to witness the 2007 season.

The 2008 Orange Bowl Champions! Many of the team members attended even those playing in the NFL since their season had not started yet.

Solar Esclipse

The girls watching the Solar Eclipse on August 21st. We had 80% coverage in OKC. The next time a solar eclipse will be visible in North America will be in 2024. 

First Day of School!

It's so hard to believe another school year is underway! I've been waiting for the day when all three would wear matching plaid uniforms to school together and today was that day! 

Gabby starts 5th grade -- her final year of elementary school -- gasp! Adriana begins 2nd grade and will receive First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion this year -- incredible! Christina begins full-time PreK, which is a big step from part-time preschool the last couple of years-- amazing! It's a year full of milestones, and I get emotional just thinking about it, but I am so thankful that I have these three precious children to call mine and to watch them grow and mature. My heart is full.

Hoping and praying the 2017-18 school year is a healthy, happy and memorable one!
