Happy 6th Birthday, Gabriella!

Happy Birthday to our sweet and loving Gabriella! It's unfathomable to me that she turned 6 years old today. It sounds so cliche but it feels like she was born into our family not that long ago. I remember her birth and our days in the hospital so clearly. I can still remember several of the nurses names and faces. And now she is this vibrant, smart and beautiful little girl who does cartwheels throughout our house, loves her little sisters deeply and keeps us laughing and on our toes daily! She's amazing, and David and I know we are blessed to be her parents. Thank you, God!

One of her birthday presents was sitting in the living room waiting for her when she woke up - her first set of golf clubs! She was so excited!
Practicing putting.
She's 6! She needs TWO hands now when giving us a visual. :)
A little more practice putting before leaving for school.
David brought Gabby lunch to her at school from one of her favorite places - Pei Wei. Christina and I surprised her a little later during her lunch period to say hello and offer some more birthday love. This is all three of us in the lunchroom.
We ate dinner at a family favorite - Ted's Cafe Escondido. Gabby got to wear the big pink sombrero while serenaded. She thought it was great and we did, too!
We came home and enjoyed cake. This year we made Gabby a  rainbow cake at her request. You see, she and Adriana have been really into watching baking demonstrations on Youtube. They found this concept on there and Gabby wanted it in the big cupcake mold for her birthday. All four of us made it together last night.
It turned out really cool and was delicious, too!

First bite!
Christina Mary enjoyed the events from her car seat in the kitchen.
Yummy!
Next she opened the rest of her gifts from us. We got her a personalized mug, two dresses (she is shown opening one of them) and new Nike tennis shoes.
Opening her card and gift from Adriana. She got a Cake Pop maker - more baking creations!
One last picture on her birthday with her little sisters and best friends. Love.
Gabriella, we love you tonies and are so proud of the little girl you have become! We hope your 6th birthday was as memorable and special as you are because you certainly deserve it! Can't wait to celebrate at your party this weekend!
