Dance Recitals!

Gabriella and Adriana's end of the year dance recitals were on Saturday. They were so lucky because Nonna, G-Pa, Uncle Tommy, Aunt Danielle & Vinny spent the weekend with us and watched all 5 of the girls' performances. Unfortunately, we had to spend most of the day in an auditorium because the girls were in two separate recitals. However, the girls were AWESOME! I mean, they really shined and it was so fun to watch them perform!

Friday was dress rehearsal so David and I took pictures and video footage of their performance. Adriana was in two numbers - ballet & tap. Gabriella was in three - tap, ballet & cheer. Here are some photos and the videos from Friday:

Here are the rehearsal videos. They did really well at rehearsal, but so wonderfully at the actual recital that I have caved in and purchased the professional DVD of both of their recitals! Gabby looked like a pro and Adriana was so precious in her first big stage performance!

This is the video of Adriana's ballet & tap performances. I have them edited back-to-back on the same video. The first one is ballet ("Edelweiss") and it goes straight to tap ("Whistle While You Work"). She is the first one to come on the stage in the front row in both performances. She dances in the front row on the far left.

This is the video of Gabby's tap & ballet performances. She performs tap first ("I Want You Back") and then ballet ("With A Little Help From My Friends"). She is in the front row in the center. 

This is the video of Gabby's cheer performance to "Shake it Up." She starts in the front row on the far left and then transitions to tumble in the center. She is the last one to do a round-off.

We are so proud of Gabriella & Adriana! They rarely missed dance class this year (maybe one time?) and practiced at home like good little dancers! :)
