Happy 8th Birthday to our fun-loving, smart, energetic and talented Gabriella! I truly cannot believe she is 8 years old! I mean, where does the time go? She, David and I have grown up and come along way since February 28th, 2007! We love this little girl so much. She is so full of life and her energy and laugh are contagious. We are so blessed to be her parents!
Gabby is maturing and we know this for the obvious reasons, but it also became apparent to us when she said she'd rather spend time with her family and have one-on-one time with mom and dad rather than have a birthday party. She was also gifted a special dance opportunity rather than a big birthday bash. These are all things she told us she would like rather than a party. We kept asking her if she was sure and she never wavered. Our big girl is really growing up!
She had a snowy birthday! We received a couple inches of snow throughout the day, which made for a very pretty winter wonderland. Gabby started her day with gift openings. Then, we went First Communion dress shopping and she found THE dress! (It's not the one pictured.) One of her friends joined us in the afternoon and the girls spend time playing at our house. We all went out to dinner and then enjoyed cake at home. She and her friend played, watched TV and ate popcorn together before falling asleep around 10 p.m. She had a great day!

| 8 is great! |
| Sporting her new Lulu headband. |
| Books! Thanks to a class assignment, she is really into reading biographies. |
| Minions! |
| How much fun we had! The snow kept everyone home so we had the entire place to ourselves and 3 ladies helping us. It was our second time to look at dresses. She tried on 7 or 8 total on her birthday. The one she is wearing in this photo is not the one she chose but it is a very pretty dress. She is very excited for this special day and blessed sacrament. |
| Lunch time at one of her favorites -- Taco Bueno -- with her friend, Caroline. |
| Dinner at Tokyo Garden -- another favorite that keeps us all entertained. |
| Singing "Happy Birthday!" |
| Her rainbow birthday cake that David made for her. She requested banana pudding in the center. It was pretty yummy. |
We love you, Gabriella and are so proud of the young girl you have become! We hope you had the best 8th birthday! XOXO
