Friday was Marquette's Fun Run & Field Day. It was an incredible day for the Marquettte community. The Fun Run was first thing in the morning. I ran with Gabby and her friends and it was an awesome experience. Adriana and her classmates cheered us on with signs along the course. Then both girls enjoyed games and events all day at their annual Field Day and I served as a volunteer. I cannot adequately express how much this community has meant to our family. It's a special place that we will miss tremendously when we move in a few weeks. Thank you to the parent volunteers, administrators and staff who made this event a success...our family made lasting memories today. Thank you, Marquette Catholic School! You prove again and again that a strong community praises God and each other!
On Saturday and Sunday Gabby competed in her last competition of the season in OKC. She earned Top First Place in her category and 8th place overall in the division. She did very well in an extremely competitive division. The mini group did well, too, making it a solid finish to a very successful competition season! One of the biggest honors was that the studio earned the Best Sportsmanship Aw
ard among all the studios participating in the competition. South Tulsa Dance Co. offers a competitive yet healthy and positive environment for its dancers.
We are so very proud of Gabby and all her handwork this year. In a couple weeks, Gabby and Adriana will have their annual dance recitals. They can't wait!
