We headed North for a long weekend...

Last weekend we headed up north. Our first stop was Manhattan. Our girls and the Tadtmans' three children had a great time playing in the splash pad in downtown Manhattan! We also enjoyed the Flint Hills Discovery Center with Nana. It was a cowboy themed day that was filled with learning and arts and crafts.

We then headed to KC and saw several friends over two days. We had an awesome time at the K with great seats just three rows behind the Royals' dugout. It was HOT but we stayed the entire game and cheered KC onto victory against the Astros. Our last day in KC we met up with Aunt Bridget and went to Legoland in Crown Center and then had lunch at the famous Frtiz's where your food is delivered by train. Pretty fun!

It was a nice long weekend getaway!
