Happy Mother's Day! Yesterday was a wonderful and relaxing day to spend with my family. In the morning, I was surprised with donuts from my favorite local bakery (I made a slight hint to David about this a few days before) and delicious coffee. Then, I was given cards and gifts. The girls got me a new workout outfit, which I love (see below) and David surprised me with a gift certificate for a one hour massage. He already scheduled the appointment, which is tomorrow, and lined up childcare so this is really stress-free for me! Love it!
During breakfast, I opened my cards and gifts from my amazing daughters and husband.
Then, I went on a little under a 4 mile run in my new workout clothes! David insisted he take a picture before I headed out the door into the beautiful spring weather.
Later in the morning we took a walk, had lunch and hung out at the house. Before David headed back to Tulsa he took some photos of my sweet babies and me.
Gabby is holding the beautiful flower pot she painted for me at school along with some flower seeds. Inside was a tear-jerker poem that I will treasure forever. I am also wearing a bead necklace and bracelet Gabriella made for me the day before with Nana. I am such a blessed Mommy!
