Dance Competitions, Softball & Soccer

It's been a very busy couple of weeks. Gabby competed in her final two dance competitions and attended a dance convention last month. She also started softball. Adriana is busy with soccer and Christina is on the move and into everything! Life is good!

Earlier in March, Gabby earned Platinum and placed first in her division and 3rd overall at her third competition. We are so proud of her!
Gabby's last competition was a few weeks ago. It was the most competitive one this year. She did very well. This competition does not give out individual awards. You get a final score but they only award 1st, 2nd & 3rd place division awards and one overall award. Gabby was the youngest (her division was 10 & under) and she missed placing by just 2 points. (She placed 5th out of 11.) There was some very impressive competition and the girls who placed were at least 2 or 3 years older than her. We are so proud of Gabby! She had a great competition season!

She attend the convention that weekend as well and had so much fun and learned a lot. Great job, Gabby!
A week after she finished up dance competitions, Gabby started softball. This year she is playing coach pitch and doing very well. David and another dad from Marquette are coaching the team - The Royals!
Coach and daughter.
Playing second base.
In the first game, she had 2 great hits. After 4 games she is batting right at .500 and playing good defense. She and her team are trying to get better every week. They are playing 2-3 games per week so they are getting lots of exposure and repetition.
After her first hit, she is on first base waiting to advance to second.

Sweet Adriana has been busy this year with dance and gymnastics. This spring she is playing her first sport - soccer. Yesterday was their first practice and scrimmage and she had so much fun. The program we have her enrolled in does not include games. It focuses on teaching fundamentals and then the kids scrimmage at the end.
Here she is dribbling down the field and kicking to the goal.
Score!

Christina Mary is doing great, too. She is now 14 months and crawling and into everything. No sign of walking yet but we know she will get to that point some time soon. She is a bit delayed after several months of ear infections and fluid trapped behind her ear drums. Since her tubes surgery, she has been moving along with development nicely, but nonetheless she is a little behind and she is in physical therapy once every two weeks to help get her on track. We can already see an improvement.

She fell asleep next to Big Sister Adriana during family movie night.
Swinging at the park. Such a sweet face!
