Happy Birthday to our sweet, lovable and tender-hearted Christina Mary! I truly cannot believe she has reached this milestone. We no longer have a baby in our house, which I find bittersweet. The sweet part is it means we have survived babyhood 3 times now and our family is growing up, but at the same time, it's bitter because the years of innocence and wonder are limited in a sense. :(
Overall, she had a good day. She is getting over sickness. Her morning and afternoon were good but in the evening she started to get fussy and fell asleep at dinner. Come to find out she is teething now. Poor girl can't catch a break! Gift opening and cake will have to wait until tomorrow. Nonna is in town this next week to celebrate with us, too. Christina had some good one-on-one time with her today.

| At dinner tonight, she fell asleep. In her defense we had a later dinner (at Ti Amo's), but I think the week of fighting sickness and teething caught up with her. |
