Christina's surgery & Starting 2015 with Painted Piggies!

On Tuesday, December 30th, Christina underwent surgery to have a new set of tubes placed in her ears and to have her adenoids removed. Surgery was quick and she recovered wonderfully. She is a trooper without a doubt! Before the nurse took her back for surgery she gave her a valium type of medicine. It makes going back to surgery not so traumatic for all involved - I very much like that they do this because departing from a screaming baby before surgery sounds awful. Christina was so funny after she took the medicine. She sang and was very chill - some good drugs!

Relaxin' and making Mommy & Daddy giggle!
After surgery, to be expected, she was upset as the anesthesia wore off. We stopped on our way home and got a dozen donuts. This girl LOVES donuts! She ate one on the way home and a couple more throughout the day. :)

Christina's first painted piggies! She sat so still and loves having color on her feet. It's adorable!
